While Chris was working this weekend in Newark, we attended our township memorial service for 9-11. Brandon participated in the Color Guard and posted the colors, Trevor and Joshua represented their boyscout troop, and the twins and Elli waved flags and showed their patriotism for the great country we live in.
Our Firefighters were out in full force last night....
The only thing I would have changed about the service last night was having my husband there to share it with me. We missed you this weekend babe....love you!!

Chris was only missing for an important ceremony, there are thousands who will be missing forever. How lucky we are to have people who put their lives on the line so we are safe. I prayed the whole weekend that Chris and his fellow protectors would be safe.
