Letters from Brandon...

We have had quite a few letters from Brandon...the first group of letters were sad and talked about his adjustments to his new life and how much he missed everyone....the second group of letters were 100% better and he talked about things that he was enjoying and looking forward too.  There are a couple of websites that post pictures every day of the new cadets...thought I would share some with you...we are so thrilled to have these!

Brandon shared with us in his letters that he had been chosen to be the Guidon bearer for his flight...he was very honored...and then Chris found these pictures on-line....we are so proud.

In each of the following pictures Brandon is in the lead holding the flag....

This last group of pictures is from Field Day last week.  Brandon is the lead "tugger" on the tug of war rope in each of the pictures below....the guy behind him looks like he could be Obama...let me know if you agree...

Happy 13th Birthday Joshua!!!

 It was a traditional Kopp Family Birthday....

...with donuts....

...and presents!!!

Joshua was a good sport and wore the birthday crown that Elli picked out for him.... 

 Brandon planned ahead and had a present waiting for Joshua....

 Joshua was thrilled :)

 Brandon also timed his mailing perfectly, and Joshua received a birthday letter from Brandon on his birthday too....what an amazing brother!!! 

Joshua had a great time opening all his presents...his brothers and sister and parents spoiled him :)

 Joshua requested banana pudding trifles for dessert and the Williams Family came over to help us celebrate....

Happy Birthday Joshua!!  We love you tons!!!

Exploring Beautiful Colorado...

As you can probably imagine, there was some beautiful scenery to explore in Colorado.  First, we visited the Garden of the Gods...a wildlife park and museum....

We visited the museum first....

 

...then we headed outdoors...

The boys all wanted to climb....

....and hold up giant boulders....

...we girls wanted in on the action....

...but the boys wouldn't stop climbing....

So Daddy took Elli for a hike....

Then Elli found a pony to ride....

Guess what the boys found while they were hiking?!!  Just Kidding...we also visited the cliff dwellings in Manitou, Colorado....they were pretty neat!!

Then we found a teepee....

Daddy found an animal hat....

 Colorado was BEAUTIFUL!!!
