Elli is 3 weeks old - where does the time go?

I know I have been terrible about posting lately. I am sorry. We did just enter into a contract on the sale of our house last week, and we are currently looking for a new one in New Jersey. (Yeah!!) I love making progress. Here at home we are busy playing and sleeping! I don't think life gets any better than this!:)

Congratulations Brandon!

Brandon has been working hard, for several weeks now, with the Revere High School Minutemen Baseball team, getting ready for Freshman tryouts. This past Friday were the final cuts, and Brandon made the team. Your hard work paid off Brandon - Congratulations!
GO REVERE!!

Elli had her one week weigh in today. We were all so excited because the weather was so nice that we only needed light jackets instead of all our winter clothes. The twins were thrilled to wear their running suits. I didn't have the heart to tell them that the suits were a little too small - I can't believe how much the twins have grown!:( .

Elli got to wear her light weight jacket, too. She looked just like a little princess!!

Elli is 5 Days Old!!

Elli is hands down the best baby Chris and I have ever had. She has Brandon's very mild temperment, with the added bonus of already knowing her days and nights. She is the perfect little princess!

Happy Birthday Patti and Mackenzie!

During Patti, Mackenzie and Lily's visit, not only did we celebrate Elli's (Colette's official nickname) birthday, we celebrated Patti and Mackenzie's as well. We made sure to wake them both up very early, sing Happy Birthday to them, have cinnamon rolls, and open presents!! Mackenzie got a special day, at the shooting range, with Uncle Chris. She shot his Glock handgun, as well as his MP5 (machine gun)!!

Introducing Colette Elizabeth Kopp!

Colette Elizabeth Kopp arrived March 4, 2010 (fashionably late:)). She weighed 7 pounds 1 ounce, and was 20 inches long. She is the sweetest little girl EVER to be born. She has the softest cry, when she cries at all, truly a little Heaven sent gift from God!!

Baby Kopp Officially Late!!

We have been getting so many calls, texts, and emails from people, all asking the same question: "When are you going to have this baby?". Baby girl Kopp was due on 2/23, we are officially in our 41st week of pregnancy. ;( As miserable as I am, I have to admit that I am somewhat happy she is a little late, let me tell you why. This past Friday night we were supposed to have a house showing (as many of you know our house is up for sale), so we met Chris for dinner at the Olive Garden to get out of the house for the showing. When we arrived at the restaurant, Chris was waiting, and the waitress quickly showed us to our table. Sitting at the table was my sister-in-law Patti with my new little niece, Lily, bundled in her arms, and alongside them, my other niece, Mackenzie. They surprised me and flew in to be here for the birth of our baby girl. Needless to say, I cried like a baby! We have been having fun with them all weekend!

Yesterday, I had a doctor's appt. They did an ultrasound and stress test on the baby - she passed the stress test with flying colors (not sure what that phrase really means ;)), and she looked great on the ultrasound. So...they scheduled an induction for Thurs. March 4, at 7 am. However, since my appt I have been having regular contractions every 15 to 20 mins. Here it is, 4 am, and I just got all my hospital stuff together thinking we may go on our own today!! Yeah!!Here is the really exciting part..my sister-in-law's birthday is today. We really wanted to have this little girl on her birthday, and here we are possibly going to the hospital soon. You see, Patti's first child, Jason, was born on my husband, Chris', birthday...so wouldn't it be neat for Chris' last child, baby girl Kopp, to be born on Patti's birthday?
I promise to keep you all posted - hopefully the next post will have pics of our baby girl. For now, Happy Birthday Patti! Enjoy the pics of their visit so far...
All the Kopps taking their turn at snuggling little Lily!
(not sure why we don't have a picture of Joshua holding Lily, he has been a huge help holding her for Aunt Patti - we will have to get one and post it later:))
