Costumes and Cupcakes....

Elli and Reagan cleaned the dishes while I baked the cupcakes.... 

Jason was waaayyy too busy being a spy to help...until he saw the Oreos :)

I frosted the cupcakes....and gave Jason and Reagan an example to follow....

Then they went to work.... 

Elli helped for a while.... 

Until she realized the "dirt" was yummy.... 

...we lost her at that point and the twins were on their own.... 

They did an amazing job!!!  Don't they look GREAT!!! 

Most of us dressed up for the party.... 

Ryan, Devon, Reese, and Ella came over for the party.... 

Jason and Reagan had a blast.... 

I am pretty sure they are the CUTEST 5 year olds on the entire planet!!

UPDATED TO ADD MORNING BIRTHDAY PICS....

Did you guess that we are having a Pirate Party?  Good Guess!!  I made lots of "Piratey" signs to hang up.... 

Chris decided this sign would go on the bathroom door ;)

I even made a Pin the "X" on the Treasure Map game, with gold coins for the players.... 

There were lots of presents to welcome the Pirates to the party.... 

....and of course, Birthday Donuts ;)

Everyone was awake and ready to eat Donuts....

 The twins looked around for the "birthday crowns" - we use a crown for everyone for their birthday - but they couldn't find crowns.  Instead, Trevor gave them birthday Fedoras.... 

Joshua made Jason and Reagan each a box full of school supplies.... 

Brandon cleaned up and parted with the precious Spy equipment he treasured when he was Jason and Reagan's age...and of course, they are in perfect condition and not missing any pieces.  I guess kids like Andy from TOY STORY really do exist....Jason and Reagan love them....

Daddy and Mommy finally got Jason and Reagan jackets to put all their patches on...Thank you Jason Rice for the patches from DC, they make the jackets look AWESOME!!!

The twins always love getting new clothes, and Grammi and Papa picked out the perfect outfits....

....right down to the new hats that Grammi made ;)...

...and when they opened their cards from Gramma Pauline and found money, Jason and Reagan declared that they were ready to go to The Dollar Tree store and spend it ;)

We will be making cupcakes and having a Pirate Party tonight...complete with costumes ;)...so stay tuned for more pics...the cupcakes alone are worth coming back for :)

A Tea Party before the Birthday Party....

Elli, Jason, and Reagan had a Hello Kitty tea party today....

Tomorrow is the BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!! 

The twins don't know what kind of party I have dreamt up for them....I am so excited to show them all the decorations I made!!!  Come back tomorrow to get a look at the Party Pics!!!

yesterday....and today....

Yesterday...the sun was shining, the sky was blue, and the kids were outside playing on the back deck.  Elli was so cute - she learned to say "coco" or "ho coco" when she wants chocolate milk - so she kept knocking on the door and telling Joshua that she wanted "coco"....

Last night, I kissed Trevor and Joshua goodbye and left them to go camping with their Boyscout troop for their Klondike campout.  Today....we woke up to snow....

I can only imagine the excitement in the boyscouts this morning when they woke up to snow....not the leaders :)...I know Trevor and Joshua are going to be thrilled!!! 

While daddy and I made a warm breakfast for everyone, Elli played in her favorite cabinet in the kitchen with her favorite puppy....

Some day - if she is anything like her father - she will talk about the gigantic cabinet she used to spend hours in with her puppy ;)
