Snow and Crepes...

We woke up this morning to 7 inches of fresh snow…it was beautiful.
Joshua, Trevor and I went out and shoveled really early.  The snow was so powdery and fluffy that I used a broom to clear it away.  No one was out and about except us…all you could hear were a few birds and silence…It was such a great way to start a day!!
After all our hard work we headed in to have crepes for breakfast…all mornings should be like this :)
Trevor and Joshua are now out shoveling driveways…Trevor earned 40$ this morning so far!  I will keep you posted on how much they earn today :)
HAPPY SNOW DAY!!

UPDATE
Had to post the pictures of our first ever attempt at making Twinkies.  Hope gave Chris a Twinkie maker, so we made Twinkies for Reagan and Jason's birthday party.
We used the recipe that came with the Twinkie maker…they tasted just like Twinkies, but they were not sponge-like like Twinkies are…they were dense and cake-like…
They were difficult to fill due to the dense nature of the cake, but they were yummy :)
Of course we had our friends, Ryan, Devon, Reese and Ella, over for the birthday cake…everyone wore their army clothes…Ryan showed up in his Dress Uniform…it was a ton of fun!!

Getting Ready for Baby...

Only 10 weeks left until our #7 bundle of joy finally arrives.  Elli has been helping me gather and organize baby stuff…she is very excited to meet her new brother.  Today she was playing with her brothers as usual…except she was balancing her doll on her hip the entire time.  She was being very careful not to drop the doll, bouncing it around and patting its' back…and then I noticed what doll she was carrying.  It wasn't her pretty new dolls that she was balancing on her hip…it was my ratty old doll that I got when I was maybe a little older than she is now.  I still remember the Christmas that I got it…my mom had a silver aluminum tree that year.  That poor doll has had soooo many baths that the hair is completely in disarray and the color of the dolls skin is fading…but Elli calls the doll Max and loves it!!
Reagan and Jason had to pose with their nerf guns…they wanted to be on the blog :)
