Airshow at the beach!

I remember when we lived in AZ, and we got our first Zoo membership, we would all say how we loved that we could take a couple of hours and go to the zoo any day we wanted. Well, now that we live 15 minutes from the beach, we can say that about visiting the beach!! Yesterday we went to the beach for a glorious 2 hours. It was overcast, but it was beautiful, and it was FUN!!!!!


We spread out our blanket and munched on popcorn...

We played in the sand...

We went for a walk on the beach...

Got our feet wet...
Looked for seashells, sea glass, and pretty rocks...

Took our dinosaurs for a swim...

Trevor found a clam...

Which he quickly dissected when we got home...
THEN THE AIR SHOW STARTED!!!

Jason didn't like how loud the jets were...

But it was soooo cool to sit on the beach and watch the Thunderbirds fly by...

Trevor and Joshua are so busy enjoying the water, they don't even notice the Thunderbirds in formation...

Two boys were racing the jets...

They flew right over us several times - you can kinda see the bird painted on the belly of the jet...

It was a very relaxing and fun afternoon...

And I am very thankful for the time we are getting to spend in New Jersey;)!

Brandon was working security at the airshow for Civil Air Patrol, that is why he isn't in any of the photos - he got to see the planes up close!!
