Morey's Pier!!

Morey's Pier is actually 3 piers, loaded with games, rides, roller coasters, and water parks. It is an amazing place, and we spent about 10 hours one day enjoying it!!
Chris and the twins were almost eaten by a shark at one pier.
Jason and Reagan got to drive boats

Jason and Reagan riding on the Jr. Swings

Big brother Brandon helping the twins find something else to ride on
Brandon, Trevor, and Joshua on one of the stomach stopping rides they went on
Chris on the Double Decker Carousel with the twins and Joshua

Jason and Reagan drove some trucks

All the boys rode in these seagull boats that you peddled yourself on a track above the pier - they were so cool - you peddled around the whole pier and got an incredible view of everything!!

Brandon, Trevor, and Joshua on another stomach hurling ride
Jason and Reagan on the CRAZY BUS - they went on this one multiple times:)
Jason and Reagan on the bumper cars - they couldn't quite get the gas peddle and steering in unison - they were either steering or going, but never steering and going
Trevor got to fly a plane
Brandon, Trevor, Joshua on the BIG SWINGS
Elli, of course, was an angel the WHOLE day!!
Yeah!! I found my usb cords!! Ok this first batch of pictures is from our first visit to Ocean City. We spent one day just walking up and down the boardwalk - having fun along the way - and we spent another day playing on the beach. It is very neat to live as close to the beach as we do. It is probably a 15 min. drive and then an hour drive to find parking:). Just kidding. We had a blast! The boardwalk is lined with little shops and eateries. We had lunch at our new favorite pizza place "Mack and Manco's", and then we had to get some sort of treaty as well, so Chris and Brandon and the twins got giant pretzels, and Joshua, Trevor, and I got Chocolate and Peanut Butter covered Frozen Bananas (I think we got the better snack by far!!!)

Elli, Trevor, Joshua, Jason and Reagan all tried on different hats and hair accessories.

We stopped at the dollar store on the way to the beach and got the twins buckets and shovels, a football for the older boys and dad, and flip flops for the bunch.
Trevor, Brandon, and Joshua loved the waves - although they were told not to get too wet due to our lack of towels (we were in temperary housing and all our beach towels were packed and in storage).
Jason and Reagan didn't appear to like the waves - I am sure they will get used to it quickly - however, on this trip to the beach, they preferred to play in the sand.

Hellooooo!

We are finally getting settled in our new house. We spent all last week unpacking - still have lots to unpack - but the computer is finally hooked up. The only problem now is finding the USB chords so that I can download pics off my phone and camera, so that I can post them here for you all to see. No pics today - sorry ! However, I can tell you that the pictures will be great! We have pictures from our first visit to the beach, walking down the boardwalk, riding Ferris wheels and roller coasters at the pier, spending time with our incredible family both here and from Oregon and Arizona, visiting DC, Philadelphia, NY, and of course the fourth of July fire works show on the beach! Very exciting stuff, very cute pictures! So stay tuned...

Moving Day!!

Tomorrow morning the packers will be here to pack up our belongings. The packing and loading is scheduled for Sunday through Tuesday, and then Wednesday morning we say our good byes to Ohio as we head to our new home in New Jersey. I do love Ohio. It is such a beautiful state. I will miss our beautiful backyard, all the little woodland creatures and birds, and of course the friends we have made while living here. I hope each of them leaves me a comment on this blog to let me know they are visiting. It will be a while before I am able to update my blog - I am sorry ahead of time. We are due to arrive in New Jersey on June 10, but will be in temperary housing until June 29. So...as soon as our computer is back on line and we are settled, I will be back to let you all know how the move went. Our contact info until the last day in June will be:

Lori Cell: 480-251-4754

Temperary address: PO Box 126, Somers Point, NJ 08244

Address as of June 30th: 103 Woodberry Drive, Egg Harbor Twp., NJ 08234

Elli is beginning to roll over. The look on her face after she rolled over the first couple of times told us that she was just as surprised as we were that she had made it over. Now, however, she is rolling over more often, and using the time on her belly to look around from a different perspective. Usually when we try to catch her on film she just looks at the camera and smiles. Today we got her to roll over while we were filming. Yeah!!

Our last church service at Bethany Christian Center was this past Sunday. We are so thankful for this church and to the people who have been like family to us. They prayed for us, got us a beautiful cake, and gave us some beautiful gifts. We so appreciate this church and will continue to pray for it so that more families, like ours, can be blessed by it.

Elli had a good time!
