We have been getting so many calls, texts, and emails from people, all asking the same question: "When are you going to have this baby?". Baby girl Kopp was due on 2/23, we are officially in our 41st week of pregnancy. ;( As miserable as I am, I have to admit that I am somewhat happy she is a little late, let me tell you why. This past Friday night we were supposed to have a house showing (as many of you know our house is up for sale), so we met Chris for dinner at the Olive Garden to get out of the house for the showing. When we arrived at the restaurant, Chris was waiting, and the waitress quickly showed us to our table. Sitting at the table was my sister-in-law Patti with my new little niece, Lily, bundled in her arms, and alongside them, my other niece, Mackenzie. They surprised me and flew in to be here for the birth of our baby girl. Needless to say, I cried like a baby! We have been having fun with them all weekend!
Yesterday, I had a doctor's appt. They did an ultrasound and stress test on the baby - she passed the stress test with flying colors (not sure what that phrase really means ;)), and she looked great on the ultrasound. So...they scheduled an induction for Thurs. March 4, at 7 am. However, since my appt I have been having regular contractions every 15 to 20 mins. Here it is, 4 am, and I just got all my hospital stuff together thinking we may go on our own today!! Yeah!!Here is the really exciting part..my sister-in-law's birthday is today. We really wanted to have this little girl on her birthday, and here we are possibly going to the hospital soon. You see, Patti's first child, Jason, was born on my husband, Chris', birthday...so wouldn't it be neat for Chris' last child, baby girl Kopp, to be born on Patti's birthday?

I promise to keep you all posted - hopefully the next post will have pics of our baby girl. For now, Happy Birthday Patti! Enjoy the pics of their visit so far...
All the Kopps taking their turn at snuggling little Lily!
(not sure why we don't have a picture of Joshua holding Lily, he has been a huge help holding her for Aunt Patti - we will have to get one and post it later:))

Who is the old man in the first one? You stole that picture!
Looks like Lily is watching the TV along with Uncle Chris. Must be an interesting show.
